“A Heart of Stone and Dirt” is the third iteration of the Underlord Saga, following Lynn, Jasper and Locke to defeat Underlord Chaitra.

After arriving in France for his criminal job, Locke is betrayed and set up. During a police ambush, he discovers he has the ability to reflect attacks back at his opponents when using his "x-pose" defensive stance.

Meanwhile, Chaitra challenges Lynn and Jasper to a fight after noticing their supernatural auras. He easily defeats them and implants dissolving earrings in their bodies that will turn them to stone. He gives them one year to grow stronger and defeat him to get the antidote.

When Locke discovers what happened to Lynn and Jasper, he tracks down Chaitra and confronts him. During their battle, Chaitra summons a meteor to kill Locke, but Locke uses his reflection ability to redirect it back. Chaitra, impressed by Locke's fighting spirit, accepts his defeat with honor and is destroyed by his own meteor. Locke retrieves the antidotes for Lynn and Jasper, having defeated the powerful ancient being through determination and his newfound ability.
