Karana wields the exceptional power to distort, warp and manipulate reality in various ways. He can extrude, merge, compress, liquify and cut objects to his will.
As the Lord of Space in the Jespan High Party, Karana was known as an outsider among the Jespans. He was the first Jespan to discover Earth and inhabit the planet, calling the blue planet his new home. Karana is also the creator of Estonia, having terraformed the region from sea into land.
After his 2000 slumber, Karana realised the speed of humanity, how they have modernised the world which has buried the cultural and natural heritage of places he considers his domain. He goes to inspect cities such as Riyadh, once a culturally rich city to find skyscrapers and a facade of technology.
When he is confronted by multiple zodiacs explaining that these cities are their home, he destroys them one by one. Defeating Samir and Cindi, Karana is defeated by Sam when Sam uses his custom rules to its limitations, bending a part of reality that Karana cannot control.
Karana presents himself as a philosophical observer of human progress, often engaging in environmental criticism and lamenting the loss of cultural heritage to modernisation. He displays a complex personality that oscillates between intellectual discourse and violent action, sometimes appearing reasonable before suddenly turning destructive. His attitude toward humans is condescending yet occasionally appreciative, viewing them as children who have simultaneously impressed and disappointed him with their development of his ancient creations.
Despite his power and ancient wisdom, Karana suffers from overconfidence and underestimation of human adaptability. His fatal flaw lies in his inability to fully comprehend how his reality and humanity has changed over the course of 2000 years.
